OUTLAW HALF HOLKHAM AQUABIKE

Date: 7 July 2024               Start Time: 06:00               Distances: SWIM: 1.2M, BIKE: 56M

This event follows the same swim and bike route as the Triathlon.  Your race finish time will be taken when you cross the timing mat as you return to transition after your bike leg.  Once you have racked you can then walk, jog or run to the orange carpet and the finish line to collect your medal.  This event is ideal for those who want to challenge themselves and enjoy the Outlaw experience, but either don’t want to or find themselves unable to run.

The swim takes place in the lake on Holkham Estate with a time trial format start. The swim is a single loop, which takes you to the far end of the lake and around the island before returning to the Transition area directly in front of the Hall.

The 56mile bike course takes you out of the Estate onto a single lap route through the villages of North Norfolk, including a cruise past Sandringham Estate. The route is fairly described as rolling – it’s not flat, however, there are no significant gradients. When you return to Holkham Estate, you will climb up to the Obelisk and take a moment to admire the view before descending back to the finish.

Minimum Age: Participants must be 18 by 31 December 2024
