This event follows the same swim and bike route as the Outlaw Half Nottingham Triathlon. Your race finish time will be taken when you cross the timing mat as you return to transition after your bike leg. Once you have racked you can then walk, jog or run to the orange carpet for a Grandstand finish and collect your medal.
The swim takes place in the Regatta Lake at the National Water Sports Centre with a time trial format start. The swim is easy to navigate with an out and back course which exits via a pontoon close to transition.
The 56-mile bike course takes you along a relatively flat route out into the rolling Nottinghamshire countryside. You will return to the Water Sports Centre via the medieval manor house, Holme Pierrepoint Hall, ready to finish your race as you re-enter Transition before heading to the orange carpet to celebrate in style.
Aquabike is ideal for those who want to challenge themselves and enjoy the Outlaw experience, but either don’t want to or find themselves unable to run.
Minimum Age: Participants must be 18 by 31 December 2025
