This event can be done as an individual or join in with friends and complete it as a 2 or 3 person Relay. The swim takes place in the Lake on the Holkham Estate with a time trial format start. It is a single loop swim, which takes you to the far end of the lake and around the island before returning to the Transition area directly in front of the Hall.
The 56mile bike course takes you out of the estate onto a single lap route through the villages of north Norfolk, including a cruise past Sandringham Estate. The route is fairly described as rolling – it’s not flat, however, there are no significant gradients. When you return to Holkham Estate, you will climb up to the Obelisk and take a moment to admire the view before descending back into T2.
The run begins with a return to the Obelisk as you start the first of 3 laps of the 13.1mile run, which takes you on the roads and tracks around the Holkham Estate. You’ll pass the the finish line a couple of times before you can finally embrace the roar of the crowd as you head onto the orange carpet.
You can also enter this race with one of our Charity Partners – Alzheimers Research UK or Cancer Research UK – and help to raise vital funds while you train!

The start format will be time trial with swimmers being sent off the pontoons at short intervals. Start times are allocated based on submitted swim time. Individuals will receive their personal start time prior to the event. Wetsuits will be mandatory for the swim.
