This open water sprint distance triathlon comprises a 750m swim in the Regatta Lake, a flat, multi lap bike course and a 5k run – all within the traffic-free grounds of the National Water Sports Centre and Holme Pierrepont Country Park.
With qualification places on the line and a wave where you can choose to race your mates, this is a great opportunity for both novices and those looking to represent their country.
*Please note – Qualification waves will be dependent on the number of entries in age groups and will be allocated approximately 4 weeks pre event. If you do not wish to be considered for qualification, please select the 12:30 Wave Option when entering.
Minimum Age: 15 years on 31 December 2025
The swim is a very simple route. Starting at the boat house end of the lake you will swim straight down the lake towards the Tower where you’ll then make a left turn to swim straight across the lake before making a 2nd left turn to swim straight back to exit the lake under the Swim Exit Gantry.
The bike course is flat and as fast as you want it to be – but watch out for the corners! Keeping the lake on your left, you will complete 4 laps of the lake before dismounting to head into transition.
