OUTLAW HALF NOTTINGHAM

Flat, Fast and Very Popular!

Date: 19 May 2024               Start Time: 06:00               Distances: SWIM: 1.2M, BIKE: 56M, RUN: 13.1M

The swim takes place in the Regatta Lake at the National Water Sports Centre with a time trial format start. The swim is easy to navigate with an out and back course which exits via a pontoon close to transition.

The 56-mile bike course takes you along a relatively flat route out into the Nottinghamshire countryside. There will be one short but significant climb between 15 miles and 20 miles to test your legs and put a smile on your face as you enjoy the descent on the other side. You will return to the Water Sports Centre via the medieval manor house, Holme Pierrepoint Hall, ready for the final leg of the race.

The 13.1-mile flat run covers laps of the Regatta Lake and the River Trent Path. You’ll pass the crowds at the grandstand a couple of times before finally enjoying the famous orange carpet. Up to 2 family members or friends can join you to celebrate your finish.

This event can be done as an individual or join in with friends and complete it as a 2 or 3 person Relay. You can also enter this race with one of our Charity Partners – Alzheimers Research UK or Cancer Research UK – and help to raise vital funds while you train!
