This event follows the same swim and bike route as the Outlaw Nottingham Triathlon. However, you will head to the finish after your bike leg. This will be a different finish to the main grandstand finish due to the race route logistics.
The swim takes place in the Regatta Lake at the National Water Sports Centre with the incredible spectacle that is a mass start. The swim is easy to navigate with an out and back course which exits close to transition.
The 112-mile bike course takes you along a relatively flat route out into the Nottinghamshire countryside, taking in a southern loop, northern loop (where there is one short but significant climb at Oxton Bank), then back round the southern loop again before returning via Holme Pierrepont Hall and completing your event.
Aquabike is ideal for those who want to challenge themselves and enjoy the Outlaw experience, but either don’t want to or find themselves unable to run.
Minimum Age: Participants must be 19 by 31 December 2024
The swim takes place in the Regatta Lake at the National Water Sports Centre. A single out and back course makes it easy to navigate.
The partially closed road, single-loop bike course is flat, with only one notable climb at mile 20 to test the legs and get you out of the saddle. The route takes you through beautiful Nottinghamshire countryside before returning to the National Water Sports Centre to finish your race.
Race pack collection and racking will be on Saturday. Race packs will not be posted and there is no option to rack on Sunday. Photo ID will be required for all Race Pack collection as well as presentation of a valid BTF licence or day licence.
Bikes must be stickered prior to racking and security wristbands must be worn at all times for access to Transition – including collecting your bike post race.
The start format will be a mass start. Wetsuits will be mandatory for the swim.
