The swim takes place in the private lake on the Thoresby Estate. You will enter and exit via the Pontoon before making a short run back to Transition.

The single loop bike course will take athletes on a beautiful journey through the north Nottinghamshire countryside, including Walesby Forest and Clumber Park. There is c. 2,000 ft of climbing, with the highest point on the course coming at 51 miles. It’s fair to describe the course as ‘rolling’, with some climbs and plenty of long, fast sections.

13.1 MILES

The run course is a 3 lap route around roads and farm tracks, which undulate to give you some stunning views around the estate and of Thoresby Hall within the private grounds of Thoresby Estate. As the route is predominately on private grounds of Thoresby Park Estate this is not accessible to do course recce’s before the event.

Race pack collection and racking will be on Saturday. Race packs will not be posted and there is no option to rack on Sunday. Photo ID will be required for all Race Pack collection as well as presentation of a valid BTF licence or day licence.
Bikes must be stickered prior to racking and security wristbands must be worn at all times for access to Transition – including collecting your bike post race.

The start format will be time trial with swimmers being sent off the pontoons at short intervals. Start times are allocated based on submitted swim time. Individuals will receive their personal start time prior to the event. Wetsuits will be mandatory for the swim.
